| Since 1982, I have been in private practice in Colorado Springs as a psychologist and Jungian analyst Through careful exploration of daily life and the images that emerge in dreams, my approach to psychotherapy and analysis involves helping individuals to see more clearly what is going on under the surface in the unconscious--towards the goal of their experiencing a greater sense of choice and possibility, feeling more truly themselves, and living more creatively.
My educational background includes: an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Yale College; an M.F.A. in filmmaking from New York University; a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The California School of Professional Psychology; and a Diploma in Jungian Analysis from the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts.
In addition to practicing psychotherapy and Jungian analysis, I provide supervision to other professionals and psychological and neuropsychological evaluation and consultation. I am an adjunct faculty member of The Colorado School of Professional Psychology, and a Senior Analyst with and on the Core Faculty of the C.G. Jung Institute of Colorado.
I have also published short fiction and poetry, in The Roanoke Review, The Maryland Review, and Psychological Perspectives, and am currently producing a series of films on Jungian topics through InnerVision FilmWorks. My recent film, Where We Are: Jungian Analysts in the 21 st Century, will debut nationally at the Spring Conference of the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts.
